BOARD ADVISOR | Mary Cirillo
Mary Cirillo is a former senior banking executive. She has most
recently served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of a
privately held company. Cirillo has had a 23-year career with Citibank
and Bankers Trust where she served as Chief Executive Officer of
Bankers Trust Company's Global Institutional Services. She was a
member of the Banker's Trust Management Committee reporting to the
Chairman of Bankers Trust and subsequently a member of the Deutsche
Bank's senior management team post acquisition of Bankers Trust by
Deutsche Bank. Cirillo was responsible for the Custody Services,
Investor Services, Corporate Trust and Agency Services, and Cash
Management businesses. These businesses operated in 62 countries and
generated revenues in excess of $2 billion.
Prior to joining Bankers Trust, Cirillo spent 20 years at Citibank
and was most recently responsible for the Global Relationship Banking
Operations and Technology Group, which supported the operations and
information technology needs of the North America, Europe and Japan
capital markets, transaction services and corporate finance
businesses. Cirillo joined Citibank in 1977 and served in a variety of
strategy, planning, operations, product development, technology, and
business management positions. She was the Division Executive for
Global Cash Management Services where she architected the global
business model for Transaction Products and created the worldwide
leader for Treasury Services, led a Corporate Task Force in 1992 and
1993 aimed at helping Citicorp realize the objectives of its five
point recovery plan, and was the Senior Corporate Officer for the
Business Evaluation and Corporate Re-engineering Unit.
Early in her career Cirillo worked as a management consultant at
Ernst and Ernst, a product manager for Programming Methods, Inc. and a
programmer/analyst at ATT.
In 1987 Cirillo was voted into the Academy of Women Achievers of
the YWCA. She was the recipient, in 1994, of The STAR award from the
New York Women's Agenda which honors the top business and professional
women in NY and in 1995 was honored by NextStep for her efforts in the
area of workforce diversity.
Cirillo currently serves as a director of Quest Diagnostics, Inc.,
Teterboro, NJ; DealerTrack, Melville N.Y. GlobalServe, Valhalla, N.Y;
and is on the Advisory Board of Hudson Venture Partners, NY. She
formerly served as a board member of the Financial Services Roundtable
and was a former director of Digital Island and Cisco Systems Inc.
Her civic activities include serving on several not-for profit
boards. She is Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Roundabout
Theatre Company and serves as a board member at The Friends of the
Family Academy in New York City; BEST, San Diego CA; the Advisory
Board for the School of Arts and Sciences of New York University; and
the Advisory Board of the Cancer Center of the Albert Einstein College
of Medicine.
